Abstract

Aim: It was ascertained whether heating of a three-step total-etch adhesive, a two-step total-etch adhesive, a two-step self-etch primer, and a single-step self-etch adhesive by Nd: YAG laser application causes to any difference in bonding strength onto root canal dentin. Materials and Method: Upper incisor teeth were used in this experiment. After canal preparation root canal filling was performed. After post space preparation in group 1 the same adhesives were applied onto the root canal dentin and then light-cured. In group 2, Nd: YAG laser (100 mJ/pulse,10 Hz) was applied on the adhesives before polimerization and then light-curing was done. In all groups, luting cement and post was placed in the canal and then light-cured. Sections were taken from each tooth and push-out bond strength was measured. Bond strength data were analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey tests. Result: Among the samples treated and not treated with Nd: YAG laser on adhesive, the highest push- out bonding strength was observed in order of CS3>SMP>SB>CSE. Conclusion: In all groups, application of Nd: YAG laser on adhesive before polimerization increased push-out bond strength.

Her dişten kesit alındı ve push-out bağlanma dayanımları ölçüldü. Bağlanma dayanımları değerleri ANOVA ve Tukey testleriyle analiz edildi. Bulgular: Nd: YAG lazer uygulanan ve uygulanmayan örneklerde en yüksek push-out bağlanma dayanımları sırasıyla CS3>SMP>SB>CSE' dir. Sonuçlar: Adeziv üzerine Nd: YAG lazer uygulaması kök kanal dentininde adezivlerin bağlanma dayanımını arttırmıştır.
