Abstract
The aim of this study is to know the talent selection and orientation criterions of the infrastructre trainers working for football clubs. To realize this aim, a research was carried out on 43 football, trainers from 22 teams consisting 5 first league, 7 second league and 10 third legue teams. To get the research data, a questionarie was prepared having 22 questions and a validity-reliability coeffirent (a) of 8373. The research data was analysed with frequency, percent and arithmetical average. The analysis of the datum are made by using MS WINDOWS MINITAB program and by using the results obtained, findings and discussions are prepared. As a result of the research, it has been found out that, the trainers attach more importance to environmental effect parameters for the capacity selection. Moreover, it has been verified that the biomotor characteristies and physical characteristres are also taken into consideration. In the questions that are related with the psychological characteristics, differences in the answers of the trainers was observed.

Bu çalışmanın amacı; profesyonel futbol takımlarının altyapısında görev yapan antrenörlerin, yetenek seçim ve yönlendirme kriterleri ile ilgili görüşlerinin öğrenilmesidir. Bu amacı gerçekleştirmek için, 5 Birinci Lig, 7 İkinci Lig, 10 Üçüncü Lig olmak üzere, 22 kulüpten 43 futbol altyapı antrenörü üzerinde araştırma yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verilerini oluşturmak için uzman görüşlerine başvurularak oluşturulan ve geçerlilik-güvenirlilik katsayısı, a 8373 olan 22 sorulu Likert türü anket geliştirilmiş, elde edilen veriler frekans, yüzde ve aritmetik ortalamayla çözümlenmiştir. Verilerin analizi MS WINDOWS MINITAB programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; futbolda yetenek seçiminde antrenörlerin çevresel etmenlere daha fazla önem verdikleri saptanmıştır. Bunun yanısıra biomotor özelliklerin ve fizyolojik özelliklerin dikkate alındığı görülmüştür. Psikolo- jik özelliklerin seçimine uygun sorularda ise antrenörlerin yanıtlarında farklılıklar gözlenmiştir.
