Abstract

Presenting the work of scientists who have made significant contributions to the history of science in digital environments is important for disseminating scientific and cultural heritage to wider audiences and integrating it into educational processes. In this study, AI-assisted digital characters and educational content were developed based on the life stories and scientific work of Al-Jazari, the Banū Mūsā Brothers, Ibn al-Haytham, Al-Biruni, Al-Farabi, Taqi al-Din, and Cahit Arf. A microlearning approach was used to structure the content, and short and focused digital educational materials were designed. During the content production process, scripts were created using Google Gemini, visual content was prepared with Adobe Firefly, and video and audio were produced using Kling 3.0. Subsequently, Ray 3 was used for video editing and maintaining continuity between scenes, while Veo 3.1 was used to enhance visual quality. The resulting digital content was integrated into an HTML-based educational interface. In conclusion, the study presents a practical example of content development for presenting history of science content through AI-assisted digital characters and short-form educational materials.
