Abstract

The globe has seen numerous breakthroughs in the social, political, and economic domains as a result of the actions and changes that followed globalization. The social and political spheres of our nation have also been impacted by economic advances, particularly since 1990. During these years, the groundwork was established for female to enter the workforce and be present in various areas in Türkiye. Female were first employed in the agricultural industry, but in recent years, their work has spread to other sectors, particularly the service sector. This study looks at how female's employment affects Türkiye's economic expansion. Time series analysis was used in the current research, which covered the years 1990-2024. A unit root test was used to assess the variables' stationarity after looking at their descriptive statistics. A cointegration test was used to identify the long-term link between variables that were stationary at the same level, and coefficients were used to describe this relationship. To ascertain the direction of the association between the variables, a causality test was lastly carried out. These tests' findings showed that female employment affects economic growth.
