Abstract
Global economic uncertainties, market volatility, and increasing financial risks are making it more difficult for businesses to maintain their financial stability and are exerting significant pressure on their sustainability. The concordat plan aims to support business continuity by taking the necessary steps to cope with such challenges, improve their financial condition, and manage debt obligations, while also providing a framework intended to protect the recovery of creditors’ receivables in the event of a potential bankruptcy. In this context, based on the information included in the preliminary concordat plan, the financial position of the enterprise is analyzed using established and generally accepted methods, and a reasonable assurance report is prepared with the aim of providing reliable information to decision-makers. The assurance engagement underlying this report is conducted by independent auditors in accordance with GDS 3000 and GDS 3400 standards, to assesses whether the preliminary concordat plan and the comparative table contain material misstatements arising from error or fraud. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the reasonable assurance audit report, which must be submitted as part of the concordat proposal, within the framework of the relevant auditing standards, and to set out the audit procedures that soğult be applied to the financial statements in this process. In this regard, in order to achieve a reasonable level of assurance, the audit procedures to be applied to the financial statements are examined with specific reference to cash and bank transactions, trade receivables and payables, inventories, property, plant and equipment, and other key financial statement items.
