Abstract

Mitral valve injuries are rarely seen after blunt trauma. Here, we present a case of ruptured chordae tendinea with an acute heart failure after a car accident. We wanted to emphasize that early diagnosis and treatment is very important in terms of clinical course.

Özet

Mitral kapak yaralanmaları künt travmalar sonrası nadiren görülür. Burada araç dışı trafik kazası sonrası akut kalp yetersizliği tablosu ile karşımıza gelen korda tendinea rüptürü vakası sunuldu. Erken tanı ve tedavinin klinik seyir açısından oldukça önemli olduğunu vurgulamak istedik.
