Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to classify and analyze authorized postgraduate theses published on the National Thesis Center website in Turkey between 1996 and 2025 on Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Since there is no bibliometric study of postgraduate theses on Baku in the literature, this article aims to fill this gap. Method: Within the scope of the study, 148 postgraduate theses titled "Baku" from the National Thesis Center Database platform were examined bibliographically by considering variables such as thesis type, year, language of writing, university, department, study subject, and research method. The analysis of these theses was carried out using Excel software. Findings: The data were analyzed using basic descriptive statistical methods such as percentages and frequency distributions. These findings are also presented in tabular form. Conclusion: It is believed that this study will provide useful information, particularly for students and advisors preparing their dissertations on the city of Baku.

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Azerbaycan’ın başkenti Bakü şehrinin 1996 ve 2025 yılları arasında Türkiye’de yapılan Ulusal Tez Merkezi internet sitesinde yayınlanan izinli lisansüstü tez çalışmalarını sınıflandırılarak analiz etmektir. Literatürde Bakü şehri ile ilgili yapılmış lisansüstü tezlerin bibliyometrik çalışması yapılmadığı için bu yazı bu boşluğu doldurması hedeflenmektedir. Yöntem: Çalışma kapsamında YÖK (Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu) Ulusal Tez Merkezi platformundan “Bakü” konu başlıklı 148 adet lisansüstü tez; tez türü, yıl, yazım dili, üniversite, ana bilim dalı, çalışma konusu ve araştırma yöntemi gibi değişkenler ele alınarak bibliyografik açıdan incelenmiştir. Bu tezlerin analizi Excel programı vasıtasıyla yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Elde edilen bulgular yüzde ve frekans dağılımları gibi ana betimsel istatistiki yöntemlerden yararlanılarak verilerin analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca bu bulgular tablo şeklinde sunulmuştur. Sonuç: Çalışmanın başta Bakü şehri ile ilgili çalışma yapacak olan tez hazırlık aşamasındaki öğrenciler ve danışmanlara faydalı bilgiler sunacağı düşünülmektedir.
