Abstract

Sebaceous lymphadenomas are rare benign tumorsthat are often preoperatively confused with otherparotid gland tumors. In this study, a 60-year-oldfemale patient with a 20x15 mm painless mass in thetail of the right parotid gland for two years, ispresented. She was diagnosed and treated forsebaceous lymphadenoma in our clinic. The clinicaland radiological findings and also histopathologicalfeatures of this case are discussed with the relevantliterature. The treatment of sebaceous lymphadenomasis surgical, and generally partial parotidectomy issufficient. For a preoperative diagnosis, fine needleaspiration biopsy (FNAB), ultrasonography (USG)and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniquescan be used

Özet

Sebasöz lenfadenomalar, preoperatif tanıda diğer parotisbezi tümörleriyle sıklıkla karışan, oldukça nadir görülenbenign tümörlerdir. Bu çalışmada, sağ parotis bezikuyruğunda lokalize, iki yıldır mevcut, 20x15 mmebatında, ağrısız kitle şikayetiyle kliniğimizde teşhis vetedavisi yapılan 60 yaşında kadın hastada saptanansebasöz lenfedenomun klinik, görüntüleme bulguları vehistopatolojik özellikleri literatür eşliğinde tartışıldı.Sebase lenfadenomaların tedavisi cerrahi olup, parsiyelparotidektomi yeterlidir. Preoperatif tanı için, ince iğneaspirasyon biyopsisi (İİAB), ultrasonografi (USG) vemagnetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG) teknikleriayırıcı tanıda kullanılabilir
