Abstract

Keratocystic odontogenic tumors, benign developmental jaw tumors are also known as odontogenic keratocysts. These lesions are locally aggressive and have a high recurrence potential. Treatment methods vary from conservative met hods such as curettage, enucleation, and marsupialization/ decompression to radical methods such as peripheral osteotomy, chemical cauterization, cryotherapy, and resection. In this study, we presented a case of a keratocystic odontogenic tumor restored with condylar reconstruction plate after hemimandibulectomy
