Ailevi hiperkolesterolemi, düşük dam iteli lipoprotein reseptör genindeki otozomal dominat defekt sonucu plazmada düşük dansiteli lipoprotein kolesterolün artışı ile giden, kalıtsal bir hastalıktır.
