Abstract

Intraneural ganglion cysts are non-neoplastic, fluid- filled lesions located in the epineurium of the peripheral nerves. The most frequent location of occurrence is the common peroneal nerve at the level of the fibular neck. They usually occur in adult males and may lead to neurological findings. In the majority of patients, swelling and pain are seen in the neighborhood of the lateral part of the fibular neck that passes through the peroneal nerve. Here, we present a 28-year-old male patient who had intraneural ganglion cyst located in the peroneal nerve trauma along with his magnetic resonance imaging findings.
