Abstract

Pulmonary tumorlet is multifocal neuroendocrine cell proliferation believed to be precursor lesion to pulmonary carcinoids. A 52-year-woman underwent a left lower lobectomy and lingulectomy for bronchiectasis. Histopathologically, multiple tumorlets and a carcinoid tumor were detected in the surgical specimen. J Clin Exp Invest 2012; 3(2): 273-276
