Abstract
This research is carried out to determine the studentsâ who are studying at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Education Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department perceptions about School Experience I course. In this research a survey is applied to the students in order to determine studentsâ perceptions about this lesson. As all of the students are included to the survey, a sample group wasnot chosen. As a conclusion of the research; it is pointed out that teaching career is appropriate to personal qualifications and expectations of the students; School Experience I course is thought to direct their future education and help them to understand teaching career better. Besides those who are practicising sports or have ability in sports are more confident and less worried than those who never practiced or interested in sports.

Bu çalışma, Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümü 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin Okul Deneyimi I dersine başlamadan önce, derse ilişkin algılarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada öğrencilerin Okul Deneyimi I dersi ile ilgili algılarını belirlemek için bir anket uygulanmıştır. Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümü 1.sınıfına devam eden 51 öğrencinin tamamına ulaşıldığından örneklem alınmamıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğinin kişisel özelliklerine uyduğu ve öğretmen olmayı istedikleri; Okul Deneyimi dersinin gelecekteki öğrenim yaşantılarını şekillendirmede yardımcı ve öğretmenlik mesleğini daha iyi tanımada önemli olduğunu algıladıkları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca spor yapmış veya spora yatkın olanların, Okul Deneyimi I dersinde başarılı olacakları konusunda, hiç spor yapmamış veya yeterince uğraşmamış olanlara oranla daha az kaygılı ve kendilerine daha güvenli oldukları belirlenmiştir.
