Objectives : In the world and in our country; With the increase in the elderly population and the prolonged life expectancy, some pati e nt s may need health car e in their environment. The practice of home health care is gaining importance with the increasing elderly population. The aim of this study was to evaluate the service provided by the home health care unit within a training and res e ar ch hospital to its re gistered patients in 2018. Materials and Methods : In this cross - sectional study, the services received by the Home Health Care Unit within the Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, between January 1 - December 31, 2018 were retrospecti v el y analy zed. The data is transferred to Microsoft Office Excel and their frequency is presented as numbers and percentage. Results: A total of 1538 patients were included in the study. Of these, 35% were women (n=536) and 65% (n=1002) were wom en. The 3 m o st common services are; with 87.90% taking blood sample, 85.89% with training/counseling and 83.15% examination. In 2018, 450 of the registered patients started to receive services from the home health care unit. When we look at the new patient record in m on thly sl ices; an average of 14.9 new men and 22.5 new women are given home health care services every month. Conclusion: Today, home health care services within the hospitals meet an important need. In order to make the service more effici e nt , home health care uni ts should be supported by the related medical branches. Amaç: Dünyada ve ülkemizde; yaşlı nüfusun artması ve uzayan yaşam süresi ile birlikte bazı hastalar, yaşadıkları ortamda sağlık hizmetine ihtiyaç duyabilmektedir. Evde sağlık uygulamas ı, artan yaşlı nüfus ile birlikte önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesi bünyesindeki evde sağlık biriminin 2018 yılı içinde kayıtlı hastalarına sunduğu hizmetin değerlendirilmesidir. Materyal ve Metot : Bu kesi t sel çalış mada Anka ra Atatürk Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi bünyesindeki Evde Sağlık Birimi’ne kayıtlı bireylerin 1 Ocak -31 Aralık 2018 tarihleri arasında aldıkları hizmetler geriye dönük olarak incelenmiştir. Veriler Microsoft Office Excel Programına akt a rılarak f rekanslar ı sayı ve yüzde olarak sunulmuştur. Bulgular: Çalışmaya toplamda 1538 hasta kaydı dahil edilmiştir. Bu kayıtların %35’ini erkekler (n=536), %65’ini (n=1002) kadınlar oluşturmaktadır. En sık verilen 3 hizmet; %87,90 ile kan alma, %85,89 i l e eğitim/ danışmanl ık ve %83,15 ile hasta muayenesi olmuştur. Kayıtlı hastaların 450’si 2018 yılı içinde evde sağlık biriminden hizmet almaya başlamıştır. Yeni hasta kaydına aylık dilimlerde baktığımızda; her ay ortalama 14,9 sayıda yeni erkek ve 22,5 sayı d a yeni ka dın hastaya evde sağlık hizmeti verilmiştir. Sonuç: Günümüzde hastaneler bünyesindeki evde sağlık hizmetleri, önemli bir ihtiyacı karşılamaktadır. Hizmetin daha etkin hale getirilmesi için ilgili tıbbi branşlar tarafından evde sağlık b irimlerinin desteklen mesi gerekmektedir. Bunun yanında evde sağlık hizmeti veren ekiplerin ihtiyaçlarının karşılanmasında ve hizmetin sunulmasında karşılaşılan çeşitli sorunlarda, hastane idaresinin ve Sağlık Bakanlığı’ndaki üst mercilerin duyarlı ve ilgi l i olmaları önem arz e tmektedir.
