Abstract

Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the fear levels of pregnant women towards COVID-19 and their vaccination attitudes. Material: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the relationship between the COVID-19 fear levels and vaccination attitudes of pregnant women. The population of the study consisted of pregnant women living in Turkey. Purposive sampling method was used to determine the sample of the study. The minimum number of pregnant women to be included in the study was calculated as 310, and 315 pregnant women were reached between February and May 2022. Research data, “Personal Information Form”. It was collected using the “COVID 19 Fear Scale” and the “Attitudes towards the COVID 19 Vaccine Scale”. Results: It was determined that the mean score of the pregnant women included in the study from the COVID-19 fear scale was 21.20±2.72, and the total mean score from the scale of attitudes towards the COVID 19 Vaccine was 3.30±0.18. Conclusion: In the study, it was determined that the COVID 19 fear levels of the pregnant women were moderate, and the COVID 19 vaccine attitude was low.

Özet

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı gebelerin COVID-19’a yönelik korku düzeyleri ve aşı tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir.
