Abstract

The quality properties of some durum wheat genotypes were investigated in Diyarbakır location during 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 growing seasons. Thirteen durum wheat genotypes including two landrace with different characterictics were used as genetic material. The experiment established as a randomized complete block split design with three replications in irrigated conditions and test weight, thousand grain weight, vitreousness, protein content, semolina color and mSDS value were evaluated as quality parameters. Also, according to Biplot graph, protein content and vitreousness were in the same group while thousand grain weight, test weight, semolina color and mSDS value were found in separate groups from each other. The genotype of Diyarbakır 81 was most tolerant for stress conditions while the genotypes of OmrabiS, Şölen and Ç-1252 were more suitable for favourable conditions
