Abstract

In this study, the reaction of yield components of some durum wheat genotypes were researched in stress conditions in Diyarbakır location during 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 growing seasons. Thirteen durum wheat genotypes with different characters were used as material. The experiment were established as a randomized complete block split design with three replications in irrigated conditions as normal and late planting. Harvest index, spike length, spike number per unit area, kernel number per spike and spikelet number per spike of genotypes were evaluated. It has not be seen an important variation in the harvest index while it have be seen significance decreases in the spike length, spike number per unit area, kernell number per spike and spikelet number per spike in the stress conditions formed with late planting. Also according to biplot graphs, it has be seen that grain yield has significant relationships with harvest index at normal and heat stress conditions
