Abstract

The blending, soothing, and softening of registers is among the principles and objectives of vocal training. Therefore, the voice break at register transition is the problem that has to be solved during vocal training. The register term that has become concrete by the invention of laryngoscope by Manuel Garcia in 1856, has become the subject of a lot of research and has been of interest of the vocal trainers and specialists. In this research, the reasons of the problem of voice break at register transition and the approaches to solve this problem during vocal training are discussed. This research is verified by thematically and the problem is explained by descriptive approach and taxonomically.
