Abstract

In this study, the problem of knowledge, suppposing and belief in Kant’s epistemology are tried to be explained and understood. This study consists three parts. Three basic skills such as sensitivity, intellect and mind which are Kant’s concepts and the differences of sensible-intelligible world and noumenon-phenomenon concepts are tried to be explained in the part “Kant’s Epistemology in the Context of Double and Triple Distinctions”. In parallel with noumenon and phenomenon the concepts of a priori, a posteriori, transcendent and transcendental are analyzed. Transcendental Analytic examining the ability of understanding, Transcendental Dialectic examining mind and Transcendental Aesthetics examining sensitivity are discussed. "God, freedom and immortality concepts that are postulates of practical reason and contributing to justify Kant’s thoughts on faith are included. It is discussed if metaphysics is possible or not in Kant’s philosophy under the title of “Is it possible to wander in the fields of Belief or Metaphysics?" Knowledge, supposing and belief in Kant’s Epistemology are tried to be clarified under the title of “Kant in the Pendulum of Knowledge, Supposing and Belief”. After mentioning the classification of beliefs as Speculative- Dogmatic Belief, Pragmatic Belief and Moral-Practical Belief, knowledge-faith distinction and the presence of God problem in Kant’s philosophy is analyzed.
