Abstract

Dynamic capabilities and innovation performance, which are among the important concepts for firms to maintain their competitive advantage and increase their innovative capacity, are increasingly studied in the management and organisation literature. This study analyses the research trends of these concepts in this area using a bibliometric method. A total of 311 articles published between 2006 and 2025 were analysed by searching the Web of Science database using the keywords "dynamic capabilities" and "innovation performance". The bibliometric analysis identified the number of publications, citation ratios, most influential authors, journals and countries. The results show that academic interest in dynamic capabilities and innovation performance has grown rapidly, especially after 2015. China, Germany and Spain stand out among the top publishing countries, while Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Business Research are among the most influential journals. The study used the RStudio-based program Biblioshiny to create data visualisations, identify research trends in the field and potential future areas of study. Key Words: Dynamic Capabilities, Innovation Performance, Bibliometric Analysis, Web of Science, Management and Business JEL Classification: M10, L20, L25
