Abstract

With the emergence of various artificial intelligence tools, the visual production process is undergoing a transformation. Various debates have arisen regarding the integration of artificial intelligence into the visual design process, which inherently encompasses the concept of creativity. The visual design process is also among the experimental methods employed for the development of artificial intelligence. Consequently, the role of technology in creativity and the visual design process has become the subject of new lines of inquiry. The emotion-color relationship is defined as the emotion that arises in the observer's mind upon perceiving a color. Color, constituting a powerful emotional aspect of visual processes, possesses a significant influence that can be utilized in the expression of visual information. The concept of color plays a crucial role within the signification process in visual production. The aim of this study is to identify the emotion-color relationship and analyze the colors in visuals generated by artificial intelligence. The study encompasses the examination of the emotion-color relationship in the illustration outputs of animal figures from Turkish mythology, generated using the Stable Diffusion artificial intelligence model. The primary research problem addresses the question: 'What is the role of the colors used by artificial intelligence during the visual production process within the narrative'.
