Abstract

In analog circuits generally electronical controllability is provided by adjusting current or voltage of the terminal of used active building block through an external source. Voltage differencing current conveyor provides electronical controllability through its transconductance gain. In this study, multi-input multi-output voltage differencing current conveyor based biquadratic filter is proposed. The proposed circuit is designed by using minimum components. It uses only one capacitor and two resistors and one voltage differencing current conveyor. It realizes low-pass, high-pass and band-pass filter functions. TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS process parameters are used to realize voltage differencing current conveyor and investigate the proposed circuit in PSPICE program. It is observed that theoretical analyses and simulation results are closely to each other. Total harmonic distortion analyses are performed to assess the feasibility of the presented circuit.
