\r\n Bu çalısmanın amacı; 1950’li yıllarda daha çok ekonomi ve ortak savunma kaygıları ile yola çıkan, 1992 yılı Maastricht Antlasmasıyla bir siyasal birlige dönüsen Avrupa Birligi’nin (AB, yerel yönetim konusundaki politikaları ve Birlige üyelik sürecinde olan Türkiye’nin, yerel ve bölgesel politikalarının bunlardan nasıl etkilenmekte oldugunun ortaya konmasıdır.
