In third level, it is studied to attain deep semantic level that indicates connection between fiction and life, by way of informations in this second level. \r\n Bu çalısmada, Elif Safak’ın “Ask” adlı “roman”ı göstergebilimsel olarak çözümlenmistir. Çözümlemede Greimas’ın üç asamalı göstergebilimsel çözümleme yöntemi gelistirilerek kullanılmıstır: Yüzeysel metin düzeyinde metnin ilk anda göze çarpan özellikleri üzerinde durulmustur. Söylemler dizimi ve temel anlamsal düzeyde metin kesitlere ayrılmıs ve her kesitin çekirdek islevleri ile bütünleyimleri, belirti ve bilgilendirenleri belirlenmis; varsa kesit içi çatısmalar, çeliskiler ve sözlesmeler belirtilmistir. Bu düzeydeki bilgilerden yola çıkılarak kurmaca ve yasam arasındaki iliskiyi gösteren derin anlamsal düzeye ulasılmaya çalısılmıstır. Buna göre, Elif Safak’ın “Ask” romanının bir “proje-roman” oldugu söylenebilir\r\n
