With the changeover into information economy, the importance of knowledge is increased and the importance of intellectual capital became visible by the rise of corporations' marketing and accounting values. \r\n Entelektüel Sermaye ekonomik birimlere rekabet avantajı sağlayan ve kurumların temelini sağlamlastıran, kurum geleceğini sadece maddi varlıklara bağlamanın eksik kalacağını gösteren kuvvetlendirici bir harçtır.Bilgi ekonomisine geçisle birlikte bilginin önemi artmıs, kurumların piyasa ve defter değeri arasında piyasa değeri tarafından yasanan artıs entelektüel sermayenin önemini görünür hale getirmistir. Görünürlüğü sağlayan ise entelektüel sermaye ölçüm yöntemleri olmustur. Makalemizde öncelikle entelektüel sermaye kavramı üzerinde durularak , gelisim süreci incelenmistir.Entelektüel sermayenin sınıflandırılması yapılarak ayrıntılı olarak incelenmistir. Son olarak entelektüel sermayenin ölçüm yöntemleri üzerinde çalısılmıstır.\r\n
