\r\n This study is held with the participation of 28 students and 8 teachers of Ad yaman Province Business Education Center and Education Application School in the 2nd term of 2007-2008 academic year. In the study, the learning process of national values of the children with learning disabilities at high levels (at teachable level) has been observed and their teachers were interviewed. \r\n Bu çalışma 2007–2008 eğitim öğretim yılının 2. döneminde Adıyaman ili “ Eğitim Merkezi ve Eğitim Uygulama Okulu”na devam eden 28 öğrenci ve bu okulda görevli 8 öğretmenin katılımı ile yapılmıtır. Çalışmada ağır düzeyde zihinsel öğrenme yetersizliği (öğretilebilir düzey) olan çocukların milli değerleri öğrenme süreci gözlemlenmi ve öğretmenlerle görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda yapılan etkinlikler ve öğretmenlerin anlattıklarına göre öğrencilerin, okul programının genel amaçlar bölümünde yer alan “Atatürk’e sevgi ve saygı duyar” maddesinin amacına ulaştıkları söylenebilir. Programın özel amaçlar bölümünde yer alan “Türk Bayrağı ve Atatürk’ü tanımaları, İ stiklal Marşının anlamını bilmeleri, Bayrak törenine katılmalar , Bayrak töreninde yapması gerekenleri bilmeleri, Milli bayramlarda yapılan hazırlıklar bilmeleri ve Bayram sevinci duymalar ” amaçlarına ise öğrencilerin genel olarak ulaşamadıklar saptanmıştır.\r\n
