Yara iyileşmesi güncelliğini kaybetmemiş cerrahi konulardan biridir. İyileşme evrelerinde beslenme, dolaşım, oksijenasyon, enfeksiyon ve hormonlar rol oynar. Yaralar görünüşlerine ve iyileşme tiplerine göre sınıflandırılabilirler, tedavileri de hu sınıflandırmalara göre özellik taşır.
