Wegener granülamatozisi akciğerleri tutan vaskuiitier arasında en yaygın olanıdır. Akciğerde oluşturduğu nodüier ve kaviter lezyonlar nedeniyle, başta tüberküloz ve malignlteler olmak üzere pek çok hastalığın ayırıcı tanısına girer.
