Özet
Amonyak inhalasyonu sonrası görülen pulmoner komplikasyonlar sıklıkla katastrofik seyreder.Solunum yetmezliği gelişen bu hastalarda genel olarak uygulanan tedavi invaziv mekanik ventilasyondur.Ancak bu yöntem hem yoğun bakım ünitesinde yatış zamanının uzamasına hem de invaziv mekanik ventilasyonun kendine ait komplikasyonlarının ortaya çıkmasına sebep olmaktadır. Bizim olgumuzda yüksek basınçlı amonyağa maruz kalan hastada da solunumsal komplikasyonlar ortaya çıktı.Ve hasta solunum desteğine ihtiyaç duydu.Biz,hastamızda çok da sık kullanılmayan noninvaziv mekanik ventilasyon uyguladık ve hastamızı yoğun bakım ünitesinden kısa sürede taburcu ettik.
