Abstract

Anemia is one of the most important problem in patients with chronic renal failure. In the reproductive years, menometrorrhagia is frequently seen in women who have with chronic renal failure and this aggravates the anemia. Levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine device was inserted to our patient to decrease the irregular uterine bleeding. At the end of six months, eventhough the treatment for anemia altered, with the reduction of iron loss, the anemia was effectively corrected
