JAST - JOURNAL OF AMERICAN STUDIES OF TURKEY (ISSN: 1300-6606) A biannual print and online international publication of the American Studies Association of Turkey, the Journal of American Studies of Turkey operates with a double-blind peer review system. It publishes transdisciplinary work (in English) on American literature, history, art, music, film, popular culture, institutions, politics, economics, geography, and related subjects. Contributors need not be members of the American Studies Association of Turkey. Articles which cross conventional borders between academic disciplines are particularly welcome, as are comparative studies of the United States. The American Studies Association of Turkey is not responsible for statements, whether of fact or opinion, made by contributors. The American Studies Association of Turkey was founded in 1988 to promote American Studies in Turkey and support Turkish and non-Turkish scholars working in the field. It also aims to further research and publication in Turkish-American comparative studies. The Journal of American Studies of Turkey is indexed in the MLA International Bibliography, TÜBİTAK/ULAKBİM TR Dizin, and the Classificazione ANVUR delle riviste scientifiche (Italy). It also appears in the Ulrich’s International Periodicals Directory and the MLA Directory of Periodicals. It can be accessed online (see the sidebar), in print, and through the EBSCO and Dergi Park databases.

Dergide; Bilgisayar , Makine , Gemi İnşa , Elektrik/Elektronik , Endüstri Mühendisliği ile Temel ve Sosyal Bilimler alanlarında bilimsel nitelikli araştırma makaleleri, derlemeler, teknik notlar, kitap incelemeleri, editöre mektuplar ile konferans ve toplantıların genişletilmiş raporlarına yer verilmektedir. Dergi, deniz bilimleri ve mühendisliğinin teori ve uygulamalarına bilimsel katkı sağlamayı ve ilgili alanlarda bilgi paylaşımını amaçlamaktadır. Journal of Tourismology (JoT) is an international, peer reviewed journal that seeks to advance theory in tourism and its recognition as a scientific discipline, published only English language. The journal -published by Istanbul University Press- targets tourism and travel related papers however inter and multi-disciplinary manuscripts are also welcome. The coverage of the journal includes but is not limited to tourism theory, tourism development, sustainability of tourism, tourism marketing, tourist and traveler behavior, tourism industry, hospitality, gastronomy, transportation, attractions, tourism sociology, technology, tourism planning, leisure studies, organizational aspects and their various implications for tourism industry. JoT publishes two issues per year; one in December and the other in June. JoT is an open access journal -without any submission or processing charges or fees- that aims to be a comprehensive and innovative publication for scholars to present views and ideas at international level on key issues that shape tourism knowledge and industry from past to present. All expenses of the journal are covered by the Istanbul University. Processing and publication are free of charge with the journal. There is no article processing charges or submission fees for any submitted or accepted articles.
