Özet

Bu araştırma, İnsan Bilgisayar Etkileşimi (İBE) alanında kullanılan biyofizyolojik veri toplama yöntemlerinden Eye Tracking (göz izleme), EEG (elektroensefalografi) ve GSR (galvanik deri tepkisi) tekniklerine yönelik literatürel eğilimleri incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Web of Science veri tabanından 1991-2025 yılları arasında elde edilen akademik yayınlar temel alınarak, VOSviewer yazılımı aracılığıyla bibliyometrik analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the literary trends in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) with respect to Eye Tracking, EEG (electroencephalography) and GSR (galvanic skin response) techniques, which are biophysiological data collection methods. Based on the academic publications obtained from the Web of Science database between 1991 and 2025, bibliometric analysis was carried out using VOSviewer software. The study first examined the changes in the number of publications and citations by year, and then visualized the distribution of keywords, authors, countries and journals. The findings revealed that Eye Tracking and EEG methods are more widely used in the ISI literature, whereas studies on the GSR method are more limited. In addition, a significant increase in the number of publications in this field has been observed due to the intertwined nature of human computer interaction with technology. In line with the data obtained, it is predicted that studies that use multiple methods together, adopt interdisciplinary approaches and include both quantitative and qualitative data will make significant contributions to the knowledge in the field of HCI in the future.
