Aile Eğitim Programlarına Niçin Gereksinim Duyulmuştur? Aile Eğitim Programları Neden Önemlidir?

Özet
Erken çocukluk dönemi boyunca çocuk en çok aile ortamı içerisindedir. Ailede alınan eğitim ileriki yıllara temel teşkil etmektedir. Bu açıdan aile, çocuğun eğitiminde hayati rol oynamaktadır. Değişen sosyal ve kültürel şartlarda ailelerin çocuk gelişimi ve eğitimi konusunda aile eğitim programları ile desteklenmesine ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Aile eğitim programları ailelere hem ebeveynlikle ilgili bilgileri hem de çocuk bakım ve eğitimiyle ilgili bilgileri kazandırmaktadır. Aile eğitim programları, ailenin, çocukların okuldaki etkinliklerine de katılmalarını sağlamaktadır. Ailenin çocuklarının eğitimine katılmaları, eğitimin devamlılığını sağlamakta, çocukların kendine güven duygusu, akademik başarısı ve ailesi ile ilişkilerinde olumlu etkileri olmaktadır. Bu nedenle ailelerin ihtiyaçlarına göre farklı aile eğitim programlarının geliştirilmesi ve yaygınlaştırılması gerekmektedir.
Abstract
The child spends most of his time within the family environment in his early childhood period.The education received in the family forms a basis for the following years. In this respect, the family is of vital importance in the child’s education. With changing social and cultural circumstances there has been a growing need to support families with perent education programmes about child development and Education Parent education programmes offer information to families about not only parenthood but also child care and education. Parent education programmes encourage families to participate in the child’s school activities. The participation of the families contributes to the continuity in education and it also adds a lot to the child’s self confidence, academic success and relations with the family. For this reason, the development and generalization of various parent education programmes according to the needs of families is required.
