Özet
Kallus distraksiyonu ile ekstremite uzatmalarında, uzatılan tibiaların proksimal ve distal büyüme plağı aktivasyonları radyolojik, sintigrafik ve histolojik yöntemlerle incelenmiştir. Sonuçta kallus distraksiyonunun büyüme plaklan üzerine her hangi bir kötü etkisinin olmadığı belirlenmiş ve ayrıca yöntemin bölgesel vaskülarizasyonu artırarak büyüme plağı fonksiyonlarının hızlandırıcı yönde etki edebileceği düşünülmüştür.
Abstract
Proximal and distal growth plate activities of tibias which lengthened by callotasis limb lengthening technique were studied on 20 young adult New-Zelland albino rabbits During the study period radiological, scintigraphical and histologycal evaluations were performed. At the end of the study, it's concluded that there is no negative effect on the growth plates. We are thinking of that there is a positive effect on the function and activities of growth plates of Iengthened tibias by way of the stimuIus of increased vascularity.
