İslam tefsir literatürüne vakıf olan her kesin malumudur ki, tefsir eserlerinin en önemli ve öncelikli amacı, Kur’ân’daki vahiy mesajlarını en iyi ve anlayabilecekleri bir şekilde insanlara izah etmektir. Bu yapılırken de birçok ilim dalına başvurulduğuna müşahede edilmiştir. Bu ilimlerden birisi ve belki en önemlisi hiç şüphesiz kıraat ilmidir. Birçok müfessir kıraat olgusuna değenmiş ve farklı amaçlarla tefsirlerinde ele almıştır. Bu müfessirlerden birisi de Taberî nisbesiyle meşhur Muhammed b. Cerîr’dir. O Tefsirinde kıraat konusuna büyük ölçüde yer vermiştir. Ayrıca Taberî, kendisine has bazı kriterler ve ilmî bir tenkit yöntemiyle farklı kıraatler arasında rahatlıkla tercihte bulunabilmiştir. Bu kısa çalışmada Taberî’nin kendisine has kriterlere dayanarak tercih ettiği veya reddettiği bazı örnekler konu edinerek incelenecektir. Çalışma yapılırken istifade edilecek ana kaynakların başında Taberî’ye ait ve kısa adı Câmiʿü’l-Beyân olan tefsiri olacaktır.

Abstract

Everyone who has knowledge of Islamic tafsir literature knows that the most important and primary purpose of tafsir works is to explain the revelation messages in the Qur'an to people in the best way they can understand. While doing this, it has been observed that many branches of science are applied. One of these sciences, and perhaps the most important, is the science of recitation. Many commentators have touched on the phenomenon of recitation and discussed it in their tafsir for different purposes. One of these commentators is Muhammad b. Cerîr. He has given a great deal of place to the subject of recitation in his Tafsir. In addition, Tabari was able to easily choose between different recitations with some unique criteria and a scientific criticism method. In this short study, some examples that Taberî preferred or rejected based on his own criteria will be examined. At the beginning of the main sources that will be used while doing the study, Taberî's tafsir, whose short name is Câmiʿü'l-Beyân, will be.
