Özet
Bu çalışma, çörek otunun Nigella sativa antimikrobiyal aktivitesini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Çörek otunun dietil eterde hazırlanmış farklı konsantrasyondaki 400, 200 ve 100 µg/disk ekstraktları, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, E. coli 0157:H7 ve Candida albicans test suşları üzerinde invitro olarak denendi. Sonuç olarak, çörek otunun Staphylococcus aureus ’un gelişimini inhibe ettiği ancak diğer mikroorganizmalar üzerinde etkili olmadığı belirlendi
Abstract
This study was designed to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of black cumin Nigella sativa . Different concentrations 400, 200 and 100 µg /disk of the diethyl ether extract of black cumin Nigella sativa seeds vvere tested on Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, E. coli 0157.H7 and Candida albicans as invitro. İt was concluded that black cumin inhibited the growth of Staphylococcus aureus but did not effect the growth of other microorganisms
