İMPARATORLUKTAN CUMHURİYETE TÜRKİYE’DE ASKERİ DARBELER VE TOPLUM

Özet

Türkiye’de askeri darbeler, imparatorluktan cumhuriyete miras kalan bir gelenektir. Osmanlı Devleti ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nde gerçekleşen darbelere, genel olarak halk tepkisiz kalmıştır. Askeri darbelerin başarıya ulaşmasında, siyasetçilerin ve halkın ortak hareket edememesi en büyük etken olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’deki askeri darbelere karşı halkın nasıl bir tepki gösterdiği ele alınmaktadır. Türkiye’de askeri darbeler, imparatorluktan cumhuriyete miras kalan bir gelenektir. Osmanlı Devleti ve Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nde gerçekleşen darbelere, genel olarak halk tepkisiz kalmıştır. Askeri darbelerin başarıya ulaşmasında, siyasetçilerin ve halkın ortak hareket edememesi en büyük etken olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’deki askeri darbelere karşı halkın nasıl bir tepki gösterdiği ele alınmaktadır.

Abstract

Military coups in Turkey are a tradition inherited from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic of Turkey. People generally remained unresponsive to the coups in the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey. The failure of the politicians and the public to act jointly was the most important factor in the success of the military coups. This study examines how the public reacts against military coups in Turkey. Military coups in Turkey are a tradition inherited from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic of Turkey. People generally remained unresponsive to the coups in the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey.
