Özet: Anlatma esasına bağlı eserlerin önemli öğelerinden biri tasvir bölümleridir.Anlatılan olayın okuyucunun/dinleyicinin zihninde canlanabilmesi, betimlemelerin görselleştirmefonksiyonunu başarıyla gerçekleştirmesine bağlıdır. Elaine Scarry, “KitaplaHayal Etmek” adlı çalışmasında yazarların, kelimeleri resimlere, resimleri hareketli imgelerehangi teknikleri kullanarak dönüştürdüklerini araştırır.
