Özet

BBu çalışmada Kazvînî’nin kozmografya ve coğrafyaya dair eseri Acâibü'l-Mahlûkât ve Garâibü'l-Mevcûdât’ın Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Fatih 4172 numarada kayıtlı nüshasındaki, farklı konularda ele alınmış çok sayıda minyatür arasından Ulviyyât (Ayüstü âlemi) başlıklı bölümde bulunan gezegen ve melek tasvirleri incelenmektedir. 1501 tarihli bu nüshada toplam 5 gezegen ve 6 melek tasviri yer almaktadır. Gezegen tasvirleri Kamer (Ay), Utarid (Merkür), Zühre (Venüs), Âfitab (Güneş) ve Zuhal (Satürn)’den müteşekkil olup, melek tasvirleri Cebrail, Mikail, Azrail, Hamele-i Arş, Kirâmen Kâtibîn ile Hârût ve Mârût’tan ibarettir. Eserin Ulviyyat bölümünde bahsi geçen gezegen ve melek tasvirlerinin dışında herhangi bir tasvir yer almadığı için bu semâvî varlıkların tamamının bu çalışma kapsamında incelenmesi uygun görülmüştür. Bir yandan tasvirlerin genel ve dönem özellikleri vurgulanırken diğer yandan benzer konular ihtiva eden ve farklı dönemlere ait başka eserlerdeki gezegen ve melek tasvirleriyle mukayeselere de yer verilmektedir.

Abstract

The Superlunar Sphere part of the cosmological and geographical work Ajā’ib Al-Makhlūqāt wa Gharā’ib Al-Mawjūdāt by Qazwīnī, which is one of the numerous miniatures about various subjects in the Suleymaniye Library's Fatih 4172 copy, contains depictions of planets and angels that are the subject of this study. There are total depictions of 5 planets and 6 angels in this manuscript, In addition to pictures of planets like the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, and Saturn, there are also representations of angels like Gabriel, Michael, Azrael, Bearers of the Throne, al-Kirām al-Kātibīn, Hārūt, and Mārūt. All of these heavenly beings are thought to be eligible for research in this study since, except for the depictions of the aforementioned planets and angels, the Superlunar Sphere section of the book has no other images. On the one hand, the images are highlighted with general and historical characteristics; on the other hand, some comparisons with other representations of planets and angels from various works with related subjects and from various periods are made.
