Abstract
Artemis Ephesia is known to have possessed extensive domains in the Kaystros valley. In preparation for an on-going study of these estates, two new boundary stones are published in this article. The findspot of no. 1 reveals that Artemis’ landed property in the northeast needs to be extended up to the modern village of Göllüce. In order to understand the administrative process behind these demarcations initiated by the emperors Domitian and Trajan the meaning of the Greek terms χωρίον and διαταγή is explored.
