Özet
İnsanoğlu, avcı- toplayıcı kültürünü tarımın yapılmasıyla terk etmeye başlamış, bu durum da insanı yerleşik yaşama yöneltmiştir. İnsanlık için yeni bu yaşam tarzı zaman ilerledikçe farklılaşmış ve kendi kültürünü oluşturarak kent düşüncesi ve kentleşme olgusunun ortaya çıkmasına vesile olmuştur. Türkiye’de de durum çok farklı olmamış, savaşlardan yeni çıkmış olmasına rağmen medeniyeti yakalama düşüncesiyle altyapı ve şehirleşme çalışmaları başlamıştır. Çok partili döneme kadar önemli bir ilerleme kaydedemeyen kentleşme, 1950’li yıllarda yeni iş kollarının açılması ve nüfusun da artmasıyla bir hayli önem görmüş ve şehirleşme sürecini başlatmıştır. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmanın amacı, tek partili ve çok partili Türk siyasetinde özellikle Demokrat Parti’nin iktidara gelmesiyle hız kazanan kentleşme sürecini incelemek ve iktidarların kent olgusuna bakışını ortaya koymaktır.
Abstract
Humanbeing, has begun to abandon the hunter-gatherer culture with the cultivation. This has directed people settlement life. This kind of life-style which is very strange for the humanbeing, has changed over time and leads people think about urban and urbanization by establishing their own culture. Actually, this general situation wasn’t different from the rest of the World. Although Turkey had just gotten out of the war, has started the works substructure and urbanization by the awareness of following civilization. Urbanization, which has not made as much progress as multiparty turnover, has been of great importance due to the opening of new business lines and increasing population in the 1950's and has started the urbanization process. In this context the purpose of this study is to examine the process of urbanization, which has gained momentum with the Democratic Party's coming to power.
