Kıbrıs’ta Osmanlı Dönemindeki Eğitim Sistemine Genel Bir Bakış

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Kıbrıs’ta Osmanlı Döneminde eğitim sistemi ve genelbir örgün eğitim kurumu olan sıbyan okulları, iptidai, rüştiye,medreseler, örgün eğitim kurumları dışında yer alan, yaygın eğitimkurumları olarak faaliyet gösteren camiler, mescitler, tekkelerve kütüphaneler farklı açılardan ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmadabelirlenen konu başlıkları ışığında, tarihsel süreç içersindegeçirmiş oldukları değişim ve dönüşüm kültürü açısından belirlibir değerlendirmeye tabii tutulmuştur. Tarihsel süreç içersindene tür değişikliklerin ortaya çıktığının tespit edilmesi de çalışmanınkapsam ve sınırlılıkları içersinde ele alınan konulardan birisiolmuştur.

Abstract

In this study, the education system in Cyprus during the OttomanPeriod and the formal education institutions as the part ofelementary schools, madrasas and outside of these, as being activeas formal education institutions; mosques , dervish lodges,and libraries is tried to be addressed from different points of view(angles). Topics identified in this study, has been kept specificevaluation in terms of culture within in the historical process todetermine what kinds of changes that occur and also the scopeand limitations of the study has been one of the topics.
