Özet
Kur’an’ın pek çok ayeti Cahiliye dönemine dair bilgiler içermektedir.Bu sebeple Cahiliye dönemine ait her bilgi Kur’an’ın daha iyianlaşılmasına katkı sağlar. Kur’an’ın aktardığı bu bilgilerin doğruanlaşılması ve ne kast ettiği de son derece önemlidir. Bu makaleCahiliye devrinde günümüz anlamıyla bir namaz ibadetinin olupolmadığını tartışmaktadır. Enfal 35. ayeti, konunun iyi anlaşılmasıiçin üzerinde durulan en önemli ayetlerdendir. Zira namazibadetinin müşriklerce bilindiğini iddia edenlerin en önemli argümanlarındanbirisi de bu ayettir. Araştırmada günümüz mefhumuylabir namaz ibadetinin Cahiliye döneminde olmadığı ortayaçıkmıştır. Konuyla ilgili incelenen ayetler de bu mefhumudesteklemiştir. Dolayısıyla Kur’an’da Cahiliye müşriklerinin salatı <span style="font-size: 14px;"> p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 8.0px Helvetica} olarak zikredilen ritüeller ile namaz ibadeti birbirinden farklıdır.
Abstract
A lot of verses in the Quran contain details and information aboutthe period of Jahiliyyah. For this reason, any information aboutthe period of the Jahiliyyah contributes to a better understandingof the Quran. The correct understanding and interpretation of theinformation conveyed by the Quran is also extremely important.This article discusses the existence of any worship practice ofNamaz similar to the one in its present day form in the Jahiliyyahperiod. The 35th verse of Enfal Sura is one of the most importantverses for good understanding of this subject. This verse is oneof the most important arguments of the people who claim thatpolytheist were aware of the practice of Namaz. In this research,it emerged that the concept of Namaz was not present in its currentsense. Analysis of other verses related to this subject alsosupports this idea. Therefore, the concept of worship ritual of thepolytheists in the Jahiliyyah mentioned in the Quran is different <span style="font-size: 14px;"> p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 8.0px Helvetica} than the concept of Namaz in Islam.
