Özet

Bu çalışmada; 1995 yılt Ocak-Mart aylan arasında, Van ve yöresindeki değişik yerleşim birimlerinde yavru atımı bildirilen 11 değişik koyun sürüsüne ait atık fötuslar brusellozis yönünden incelendi. Bakteriyolojik incelemelerde, 11 sürüden 5’ine (°/o 45,5) ait atık fötüslarm mide içeriği, dalak ve karaciğerinden Brucella melitensis izole ve identifiye edildi. Yavru atan 11 sürünün 7’sinden alınan toplam 76 kan serumu Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT) ile serolojik olarak incelendi. İncelenen 76 kan serumunun 30’u (%39,47) Brusellozis yönünden sero-pozitif bulundu. Br. melitensis izole edilen 5 sürüye ait kan serumlarında sero-pozitif serum oranı %2O-°/o8O arasında değişirken, Brucella cinsine bağlı bakteri izole edilemeyen 2 sürüye ait koyun kan serumları sero-negatif bulundu.

Abstract

In this study, in 1995 January-March, 11 aborted fetuses from 11 different sheep herds in Van Region were examined for Brucellosis. In the bacteriological examination, Br. melitensis isolated from stomach contents, liver and spleen of 5 (45,5%) aborted foetus of the 11 sheep herds and identified biochemically and serologically. Totally 76 sera taken from 7 of the 11 aborted sheep herds were examined with Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT) serologically. İn serological examination, 30(39,47%) of the 76 sera inere found to be sero-positive for brucellosis. The rate of the sero-positive sera of the 5 sheep herds from which Br. melitensis was isolated, fluctuated between 20%-80%, ınhereas serum samples of 2 sheep herds from ıvhich bacteria belonging to Brucella genus couldn’t be isolated ıvere sero-negative
