Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenlerine Göre Kazanımlardaki Kök Değerler Ve Değerleri Öğretme Yöntemlerinin İncelenmesi

Özet
Bu nitel araştırmanın amacı, fen bilgisi öğretmenlerinin ‘insan ve çevre’ ünitesindeki kazanımlarda hangi değerlere yer verildiği hakkındaki düşüncelerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Ayrıca bu değerleri öğretirken hangi yöntemleri kullandıklarını da ortaya koymak diğer bir amaç olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinde durum çalışmasına göre düzenlenmiştir. Araştırma, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Isparta il merkezinde bulunan 6 ortaokulda görev yapmakta olan 15 fen bilgisi öğretmeni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada verilerin tamamı görüşme tekniği yoluyla toplanmıştır. Veriler, betimsel analizden yararlanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada, fen bilgisi öğretmenlerinin görüşlerine göre ortaya çıkan en önemli sonuç programda belli değerin üzerinde çok fazla durulduğudur. Kazanımlarda öğrencilere verilmek istenen en önemli değerin sorumluluk değeri olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretmenler, değer öğretimi yaparken daha çok örnek olay, gezi ve araştırmaya dayalı teknikleri seçerek öğrenciyi aktif hale getirmek istediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca, bütün öğretmenler fen bilimleri dersinde değer eğitimi yapılmasının gerekli olduğunu düşünmektedir.
Abstract
The aim of this research is to reveal the thought of science teachers about which values included in the learning outcomes of unit “Human and Environment.” Also another aim is to find out which methods they use while teaching these values. The research has been arranged according to case study of qualitative research methods. This study has been carried out among fifteen science teachers working at six different secondary schools in Isparta city center. The whole data has been collected through the interview technique. Dates have been resolved with the help of descriptive analysis. The most important result in terms of teacher’s thoughts is certain values are overly emphasized. It has been found out that the vital value for students is responsibility. Teachers indicated that they want to activate the students by choosing the techniques based on case studies, trips and searches. Also all off the teachers think it is necessary to have values education in science lessons.
