Dış Ticarette Ortaya Çıkan Kur Riski ve Kur Riskinden Korunma Metotları

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı dış ticarette ortaya çıkan kur risklerini saptamak ve bu risklerden korunma metotlarını araştırarak bunlara çözüm önerileri sunulmasıdır. Çalışmada öncelikli olarak Türkiye’nin dış ticaretinde kullanılan dövizlerle ile ilgili bilgi verilmiş, kur riskinin nasıl oluştuğuna ve bunlardan nasıl kaçınılması gerektiğine yönelik izlenebilecek yollar tartışılarak çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonucunda kur oynaklıklarının zaman zaman dış ticaret firmalarına zarar verdiği, bu zararın mimimize edilmesi için kur riskinden korunma metotlarının kullanılmasının gerekliliği, bu metotları kullanırken karşılaşılan sorunların çözülmesinin dış ticarette ortaya çıkan kur riskinin azalmasına katkı sağlayacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the foreign exchange risks arising from foreign trade and to investigate the foreign exchange risk protection methods and to offer solutions to these risks. In the study, intially exchange rate volatility and its effects which experienced in Turkey after 1980, were informed, than the ways in which the exchange rate risk arises and how to avoid them are discussed and solutions are offered. As a result of the study, it is concluded that exchange rate volatilities sometimes cause damage to foreign trade firms, the necessity of using exchange rate hedging methods to mimize this loss, and solving the problems encountered while using these methods will contribute to the decrease of foreign exchange risk in foreign trade.
