Bolu Ekolojisinde Sera Koşullarında Karanfil (Dianthus caryophyllus) Yetiştiriciliği

Özet

Karanfil, dünya kesme çiçek yetiştiriciliğinde oldukça önemli bir yeri olan bir süs bitkisidir. Bu çalışmada altı farklı sprey karanfil çeşidi Bolu ilinde, sera koşullarında yetiştirilmiş ve çeşitler kesme çiçekçilikte önemli olan bazı özellikler bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada çeşitlerin bitki boyu değerleri 64.10 cm ile 75.60 cm arasında bulunurken, çiçek çapları 42.08 mm ile 52.25 mm arasında tespit edilmiştir. Sprey karanfillerde diğer bir önemli özellik olan gonca sayısı bakımından ise çeşitler ortalama 2.70 adet ile 5.00 adet arasında değişiklik göstermiştir. Bolu ekolojisinde ve sera koşullarında sprey karanfiller performans bakımından oldukça tatmin edici değerler vermiş ve pazarda boşluğun oluştuğu yaz döneminde piyasaya ürün çıkartılabileceği kanaatine varılmıştır. Bu durum, Bolu’yu hem jeotermal varlığı bakımından hem de sahip olduğu iklim nedeniyle kesme çiçekçilikte ümitvar bir il olarak öne çıkarmaktadır.

Abstract

Carnation is an ornamental plant that has a very important place in world cut flower cultivation. In this study, six different types of spray carnations were grown in Bolu province under greenhouse conditions and the varieties were evaluated in terms of some important features. In the study, plant height values of varieties were found between 64.10 cm and 75.60 cm, while flower diameters were determined between 42.08 mm and 52.25 mm. In terms of the number of bud, which is another important feature in spray carnations, the varieties varied between 2.70 and 5.00. The results of the study showed that spray carnations in greenhouse conditions in Bolu give quite satisfactory values in terms of performance and products can be brought to the market in the summer period when the gap occurs. This situation highlights Bolu as a hopeful province in cut floristry both in terms of its geothermal existence and its climate.
