Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the impulsivity and eating attitude levels of volleyball players and sedentary students, and to determine the possible effects of regular exercise on these attitudes. Method: A total of 65 people, 32 volleyball players and 33 sedentary individuals participated in this study voluntarily. A Personal Information Form, Eating Attitude Scale (YTT-40), and Barratt Impulsivity Scale were administered to the participants. Independent Samples t-test, Pearson Correlation test, and Multiple Regression analysis were used in the analysis of the obtained data. Results: No statistically significant differences were found in the comparison of the total scores of the scales between the volleyball players and the sedentary participants.
