Özet
Avcılık yapan toplumlarda, av kültü, av ruhu inanışı, av büyüleri yapma, avın bereketini ar-tırmak için kurban kesmek, ziyaret yerlerine gitmek gibi uygulamalarla kendini göstermektedir.Dede Korkut Kitabı ve Manas Destanı’ndaki toplumlar da avcılık yaptığı için, av kültünün inanışve uygulamaları, bu eserlerde görülebilmektedir.
Abstract
In the hunting oriented societies, hunting cult appears as the behavioural sets alike belief ofhunting spirit, preparing specific hunting incantations, sacrificing animals for the fertility of thehunt and visiting cultic holy places for hunting. As the socities that are depicted and narratedin writings of the Book of Dede Korkut and The Epic of Manas are some of the hunting orientedsocities, the hunting cult beliefs and practices can be exampilified within those texts.
