Kamyon Arkası Yazılardan Yansıyan Dinsellik

Özet

Taşıt, Türk toplumsal hayatında önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Hatta çoğu zaman insanı bir yerden başka bir yere götürme işlevinden öte anlamlar taşır. Bireyin ekonomik gücünü ve toplumsal konumunu veya bireyin benliğini dışa vuran bir nesnedir. Bundan dolayı taşıt, sadece bir taşıt değildir. Sadece aracın markası veya modeli değil, üzerine takılan bir sembol veya arkasına yazılan herhangi bir yazı, bireyin anlam dünyasına dair ipuçları ve dinin toplumsal tezahürlerine dair detaylar ortaya koyabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada dinin toplumsal tarafları ile ilgilenen din sosyolojisi ile halkın dünyasına odaklanan folklor biliminin verileri bir arada bulunmaktadır. Bu makalenin amacı, bir taşıt çeşidi olan kamyonların arkasına yazılan yazılarda ortaya çıkan dinselliğin boyutlarını keşfetmektir. Bu amaca ulaşabilmek için de folklorun dört işlevini ortaya koyan Amerikalı folklorist William Russell Bascom’un işlev teorisine ve Türk folklorist İlhan Başgöz’ün folklorun beşinci işlevi olarak gördüğü protesto teorisine odaklanacağız. Bundan dolayı, folklorun toplumsal ürünleri arasında yer alan kamyon arkasındaki dini içerikli yazılara eğileceğiz. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın ilk bölümünde bir toplumsal tezahür biçimi olarak dine, folklorun sosyolojik yorumuna, işlevine ve taşıtın sosyolojik anlamına değineceğiz. İkinci bölümde ise kamyon arkasına yazılan dinsel içerikli yazıları ortaya koyarak yorumlamaya çalışacağız. Sonuç bölümünde ise kamyon arkasına yazılan dini içerikli yazıların taşımış olduğu dinselliğin boyutlarını değerlendireceğiz.

Abstract

The vehicle has taken an important place in Turkish social life. In fact, in many cases, the vehicle has different meanings than the function of moving people from one place to another. It is an object that expresses the individual's economic power and social position or the individual's self. Therefore, the vehicle is not only a vehicle. Not only the brand or model of the vehicle, but a symbol or any writing on it can reveal clues about the meaning world of the individual and details about the social manifestations of religion. This study has emerged with the combination of sociology of religion and folklore which focuses on the world of the people. The purpose of this article is to explore the dimensions of religiousness that appear in the writings on the back of trucks, a type of vehicle. In order to achieve this aim, we will focus on the function theory of American folklorist William Russell Bascom, who put forward the four functions of folklore, and the theory of protest which Turkish folklorist İlhan Başgöz considers as the fifth function of folklore. Therefore, we will focus on religious writings on the back of the truck, which are among the social products of folklore. In this context, in the first part of the study, we will talk about religion as a form of social manifestation, sociological interpretation, function of folklore and sociological meaning of the vehicle. In the second part, we will try to interpret the religious writings written on the back of the truck. In the conclusion section, we will evaluate the dimensions of religiousness carried by religious writings written on the back of the truck.
